Battery Safety & Information

There are a wide variety of batteries used in KiK vaping devices. This page will go through each of these batteries, how they work and all the relevant safety information.

E-Go E-Cigarette Battery – Vape 01

The E-Go e-cigarette battery is the most common style of battery and is used on the KiK Vape 01.

Activating On/Off Function

To activate your E-Go battery simply click the power button five times in three seconds and repeat this process to turn it off. An LED light on the button will flash three times to show that this has worked.

Using Your Battery

Switch on your battery once it has been connected to your clearomizer and hold your finger on the button whilst inhaling.

Charging Your Battery

Simply remove the battery from your vaping device and screw it on to your USB charger to be charged through a powered USB port. Charging takes 2-3 hours and the LED light will turn from red to green once the battery is ready to use again.

Safety Notes

DO NOT use a smartphone or tablet wall charger USB port. Their current is far too strong which can lead to overcharging, overheating and possible explosion.

DO NOT leave charging batteries unattended or on charge overnight

EVOD Battery – Vape 02 and Vape 03 EVOD Spinners

The EVOD Battery is used in the Vape 02 and EVOD Spinners used in the Vape 03. The same instructions provided for the E-Go Battery above apply

Safety Notes

DO NOT use a smartphone or tablet wall charger USB port. Their current is far too strong which can lead to overcharging, overheating and possible explosion.

DO NOT leave charging batteries unattended or on charge overnight

18650 and 18350 Batteries

18650 and 18350 batteries are more specialist batteries designed for our MODs. The difference between these two is their physical size. Please ensure that you have selected the correct size for your device, as many MODs do not come with a battery. Note that these batteries are re-chargeable and don’t often come with a charger. We recommend that you use a universal charger designed for UK electrical sockets. This eliminates the need for a converter plug.

What does mAh mean?

mAh is a scale indicating battery capacity when fully charged. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last between charges. For example, a Vape 01 uses a 650mAh battery, which will last around 650 drags between charges. Whereas a 900mAh battery for the Vape 02 will last anywhere between 800 and 900 drags.

Please use this information when determining the battery for your MOD. Something like the Innokin VTR requires a greater mAh power letting you enjoy it for even longer between charges.

Are KiK Chargers Safe?

Unlike the issues you may have seen with cheaper products on the market, KiK are primarily concerned with the quality and safety of their products. To ensure our chargers are safe, they have been designed with an automatic cut-off function. This means that once your battery is fully charged and the LED on your charger turns green, no more power will go into the device. This eliminates the potential for the battery to overcharge.

Can I use an alternative charger to charge my battery?

No, you should only ever use the charger that comes with your product as these have been designed specifically for our devices.
